Terms and conditions
Last updated: 1 November 2026
These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the Zone Land website and, where applicable,
quotations, orders, products and services supplied by Zone Land (Pty) Ltd (“Zone Land”, “we”, “us” or “our”).
By using zoneland.co.bw, submitting an enquiry, accepting a quotation,
placing an order or requesting a service, you agree to these Terms together with any additional written terms
contained in the applicable quotation, invoice, order confirmation or service agreement.
Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude, restrict or override any rights or remedies that cannot lawfully
be excluded under the laws of Botswana.

2. Website Information
We aim to keep the information on this website accurate, useful and up to date. However, product specifications,
availability, manufacturer information, images, compatibility details and other information may change from time
to time.
Website content is provided for general information and product discovery and should not automatically be treated
as a binding quotation, stock confirmation or contractual commitment.
Final product specifications, availability, pricing and service scope should be confirmed through a quotation,
invoice, order confirmation or other written communication from Zone Land.
3. Product Enquiries and Recommendations
Zone Land may provide recommendations based on information you provide about your intended use, printer model,
card volume, software, card type, encoding requirements or other operational needs.
You are responsible for providing accurate and complete information so that we can recommend an appropriate solution.
If you are unsure which product you need, please contact us before placing an order.
You can explore our product categories on our Products page.
4. Quotations
Quotations issued by Zone Land are based on the information available at the time they are prepared.
A quotation may specify:
- Products or services included
- Quantity
- Price
- Delivery or collection arrangements
- Payment requirements
- Estimated lead time
- Quotation validity period
- Warranty information where applicable
- Any special conditions
Where a quotation contains terms that are specific to a particular transaction, those specific written terms
will apply to that transaction in addition to these general Terms.
5. Prices
Prices will normally be stated in Botswana Pula (BWP) unless another currency is clearly identified and agreed.
The applicable quotation or invoice will confirm the price payable for the relevant products or services.
Delivery charges, taxes, specialist services, installation costs or other additional charges will only apply
where relevant and should be identified in the quotation, invoice or order communication.
Website prices, where displayed, may be changed or corrected if they contain an obvious error or no longer
reflect the applicable product or service price, subject always to applicable law and any order already formally
accepted by Zone Land.
6. Orders and Acceptance
Sending an enquiry, requesting a quotation or submitting information through the website does not by itself
guarantee acceptance of an order.
An order becomes confirmed when Zone Land has accepted the order and any required payment, deposit or other
agreed condition has been satisfied.
We may contact you before accepting an order if additional information is required regarding:
- Product compatibility
- Quantity
- Card specifications
- Personalisation
- Delivery
- Technical requirements
- Payment
7. Products Sourced to Order
Some products, including certain ID card printers, ribbons, parts and specialist equipment, may be sourced after
a customer places an order rather than being permanently held in stock.
Any lead time provided is an estimate unless Zone Land expressly confirms otherwise in writing.
Estimated lead times may be affected by manufacturer availability, distributor availability, transport,
customs, courier services, public holidays or other circumstances outside Zone Land’s reasonable control.
If a significant delay becomes known, we will aim to communicate the updated position to the customer as soon as reasonably practical.
8. Product Compatibility
Printer ribbons, cards, cleaning kits, software, accessories and replacement parts may only be compatible with
particular printer brands or models.
Customers should provide the correct printer manufacturer, printer model and, where available, relevant product or ribbon code before ordering compatibility-sensitive products.
Where Zone Land provides compatibility advice based on information supplied by the customer, the accuracy of that
advice depends on the accuracy of the information provided.
If you need help identifying the correct product, please contact Zone Land before ordering.
9. Custom ID Card Printing
Customers using our custom ID card printing service are responsible for providing the information, photographs,
branding, designs and other materials reasonably required to complete the order.
Depending on the project, Zone Land may provide a template or requested format for submitting cardholder data.
The customer is responsible for reviewing the information supplied and ensuring that names, photographs,
numbers, job titles, departments and other personalised details are accurate before production.
More information about the service is available on our
Custom ID Card Printing page.
10. Customer-Supplied Content and Personal Data
When you supply names, photographs, logos, employee information, student information or other material for
custom printing or another service, you confirm that you have the necessary authority or lawful basis to provide
that information to Zone Land and to instruct us to use it for the requested service.
You should not provide more personal information than is reasonably necessary for the requested service.
Information supplied to Zone Land is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
11. Customer-Supplied Logos, Artwork and Intellectual Property
Where you provide logos, photographs, designs, trademarks, artwork or other materials, you confirm that you own those materials or have permission to use them for the requested purpose.
Zone Land may rely on that permission when producing cards, badges or other personalised materials on your
instructions.
You remain responsible for ensuring that customer-supplied materials do not unlawfully infringe another person’s intellectual property or other legal rights.
12. Proofs and Approval
Where Zone Land provides a digital proof, sample or design for approval before production, the customer is
responsible for checking it carefully.
This may include checking:
- Names
- Photographs
- Spelling
- Numbers
- Job titles
- Organisation details
- Logos
- Colours
- Layout
Production may begin after approval is received.
If an error was present in customer-approved content or customer-supplied data, additional reprinting costs may
apply, except where applicable law provides otherwise or where the error resulted from Zone Land’s own failure to
follow the approved information.
13. Changes After Approval or Order Confirmation
Requests to change an order after it has been confirmed, sourced, designed or placed into production may affect
the price, lead time or feasibility of the order.
Zone Land will advise where possible whether the requested change can still be made and whether additional costs apply.
14. Payment
Payment requirements will be stated in the relevant quotation, invoice or order confirmation.
Depending on the order, Zone Land may require:
- Full payment before ordering or production
- A deposit followed by a balance payment
- Another payment arrangement agreed in writing
Work, sourcing or production may not begin until the required payment or deposit has been received.
15. Delivery
Where delivery is required, the customer must provide a complete and accurate delivery address and appropriate
contact details.
Any stated delivery date or lead time is an estimate unless expressly confirmed as guaranteed in writing.
Zone Land will take reasonable steps to fulfil orders within the agreed or estimated timeframe but is not
responsible for delays caused solely by circumstances outside our reasonable control, subject to applicable law.
16. Inspection of Delivered Products
Customers should inspect products reasonably promptly after receiving them and notify Zone Land if they believe:
- The wrong product was supplied
- The quantity is incorrect
- The product was damaged
- There is a manufacturing or printing defect
- The delivered product materially differs from the confirmed order
Prompt notification helps us investigate and resolve issues efficiently and does not limit rights available under
applicable law.
17. Returns, Repairs, Replacements and Refunds
Returns, repairs, replacements and refunds will be handled in accordance with applicable Botswana law and the
circumstances of the particular transaction.
Nothing in these Terms limits any statutory rights a customer may have in relation to defective, unsafe,
incorrectly supplied or non-conforming goods or services.
Before returning a product, please contact Zone Land so that we can review the issue and provide appropriate
instructions.
Proof of purchase, product details, photographs, serial numbers or other reasonable information may be requested
to help us investigate the matter.
18. Custom and Personalised Products
Custom-printed or personalised products are produced specifically for the customer’s requirements and may not be
suitable for resale to another customer.
Cancellation or return of personalised products may therefore be restricted once production has started, except
where the product is defective, incorrect, does not conform to the agreed specification, or where applicable law
provides another right to cancel, return, repair, replacement or refund.
19. Order Cancellation
If you wish to cancel an order, contact Zone Land as soon as possible.
Whether cancellation is possible may depend on whether:
- The product has already been specially sourced
- A supplier order has already been placed
- Custom printing has begun
- Artwork or personalisation has been completed
- Delivery has already been arranged
Any cancellation terms stated in an accepted quotation or order confirmation will also apply, subject to
applicable consumer law.
20. Product Warranties
Warranty coverage may vary according to the manufacturer, product, model and transaction.
Where a manufacturer’s warranty applies, the applicable warranty conditions may form part of the product
documentation or quotation.
Manufacturer warranty terms do not remove any statutory rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Customers should retain invoices, receipts and relevant product information as proof of purchase.
21. Technical Support
Zone Land may provide troubleshooting, setup assistance, software guidance, maintenance advice and other
technical support.
Support will normally begin with an assessment of the problem and may include remote troubleshooting where
appropriate.
If an issue cannot be resolved remotely, further technical intervention or specialist repair may be recommended
or arranged where available.
Learn more on our Technical Support page.
22. Remote Technical Assistance
When providing remote troubleshooting, Zone Land may rely on descriptions, photographs, videos, error codes or
other information provided by the customer.
Customers should follow technical instructions carefully and should stop if an instruction cannot be completed
safely or appears likely to damage the equipment.
Zone Land may recommend professional repair rather than further remote troubleshooting where the issue appears to
require specialist intervention.
23. Third-Party Products and Software
Zone Land may supply or support products and software manufactured or developed by third parties.
Third-party products may be subject to separate manufacturer warranties, licence agreements, software terms,
technical requirements or usage restrictions.
Customers should review any applicable manufacturer or software-provider terms supplied with those products.
24. Software Licensing
ID card software supplied or recommended by Zone Land may be governed by a licence issued by the relevant
software developer.
The customer’s right to install, activate, transfer or use that software may depend on the developer’s licensing
terms rather than these Terms alone.
25. Product Images and Colours
Product images on the website are intended to help customers understand the type of product or solution offered.
Minor differences may occur between website images and the physical product due to manufacturer changes,
photography, screen settings, available models or product revisions.
For personalised printing, colours displayed on a screen may not reproduce identically on a physical PVC card.
26. Website Use
You may use this website for lawful purposes related to learning about Zone Land, reviewing our products and
services, contacting us and submitting legitimate enquiries.
You must not knowingly:
- Use the website for unlawful or fraudulent purposes
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the website or associated systems
- Introduce malware, malicious code or harmful material
- Interfere with the operation or security of the website
- Submit deliberately false or misleading information
- Use automated systems in a manner that materially disrupts the website
27. Intellectual Property
Unless otherwise stated, the Zone Land website, branding, original text, graphics, layout and other original
materials are owned by Zone Land or used with appropriate permission.
Manufacturer names, trademarks, product names and logos belong to their respective owners.
You may view and use website content for normal personal or business reference, but you may not reproduce,
republish or commercially exploit substantial original content without permission, except where permitted by law.
28. External Links
Our website may contain links to manufacturers, software providers or other third-party websites.
Zone Land does not control those websites and is not responsible for their content, availability, privacy
practices or separate terms.
29. Website Availability
We aim to keep the website available and functioning properly but cannot guarantee uninterrupted access at all
times.
The website may occasionally be unavailable because of maintenance, updates, hosting issues, security measures or
circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
30. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Zone Land will not be liable for indirect or consequential
losses arising solely from the use or inability to use this website.
Any limitation of liability relating to a specific product or service will be subject to the applicable contract,
quotation and the laws of Botswana.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability or customer rights where such exclusion or limitation would
be unlawful.
31. Force Majeure and Events Beyond Reasonable Control
Zone Land will not be responsible for failure or delay caused by events reasonably beyond our control, to the
extent permitted by law.
Such events may include:
- Transport or courier disruption
- Supplier or manufacturer disruption
- Import or customs delays
- Power or telecommunications failures
- Natural disasters
- Government restrictions
- Industrial action
- Other significant events that could not reasonably have been prevented
Where practical, Zone Land will communicate material delays and work toward an appropriate resolution.
32. Complaints and Resolving Problems
If you are dissatisfied with a product or service, please contact Zone Land first so that we have an opportunity
to review the issue and work toward an appropriate resolution.
Providing the invoice or proof of purchase, product information and a clear description of the issue can help us
investigate more efficiently.
Nothing in this section prevents a customer from exercising any right to approach an appropriate regulatory
authority or other remedy available under Botswana law.
33. Privacy
Personal information submitted through the website, enquiries, custom printing and support interactions is handled
in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
34. Changes to These Terms
Zone Land may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our website, products, services,
business practices or legal requirements.
Updated Terms will take effect when published on this page unless a different effective date is stated.
Changes will not retrospectively alter specific contractual terms already agreed for an existing order unless
permitted by law or agreed by the parties.
35. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Botswana.
Any dispute arising from these Terms or the use of this website will be handled in accordance with applicable
Botswana law and the jurisdiction of the competent courts or authorities of Botswana, subject to any statutory
rights available to the parties.
36. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid, unlawful or unenforceable, that provision will be treated
as modified or removed only to the extent necessary, while the remaining provisions will continue to apply where
legally possible.
